Cohesity at Storage Field Day 8!

By on 10/19/2015.

Stephen Foskett and the rest of the Tech Field Day crew has really created something special.  Their ability to have an intense focus group of independent and agnostic delegates across multiple parts of the industry such as storage, virtualization, and networking is really one of the last great bastions of our industry for sharing.

Most of us original vCommunity bloggers have moved into roles at various vendors across the industry, but a select few individuals have been able to remain agnostic, and have developed strong followings themselves, becoming thought leaders and key checkpoints for vendors when presenting payload and roadmap information.  Not only do they blog about announcements and updates, but they take time out of their insanely busy schedules, to provide us vendors with their valuable feedback and insight.

This week is no different.

SFD-Logo2Wednesday marks the 8th installment of the Storage Field Day event, and Cohesity will have a 2-hour slot in which to present our most technical deep-dive yet! It will mark the culmination of over 2 years of intense development, and will follow our GA announcement by merely one week!

Outside the scope of the typical product announcements, datasheets, webinars, and whitepapers, this is a rare opportunity for super-technical engineers to interact with super-technical delegates, which, at the end of the day, is what Tech Field Day is truly about.  A level of transparency you simply don’t get anywhere else.

Cohesity’s session will be presented at Cohesity HQ in Santa Clara, CA, and livestreamed to the rest of the world from 4PM until 6PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

For more information, schedule, and a listing of all delegates, check out the Storage Field Day 8 website!

Once the live stream begins, I’ll add the embed here on the site.
